Kooks's “Sidewalk Sets” Hit Westwood

The British invaded Westwood Tuesday, May 20. Hugh Harris, Luke Pritchard and Paul Garred of the British indie-rock band, The Kooks, made a not-so-surprising appearance on the streets of Westwood for their live acoustic “Sidewalk Sets.” During a scheduled appearance on local Los Angeles radio station Indie 103.1 on Monday, May 19 the band announced the exact location and time of their performance. It was no surprise fans swarmed the sidewalk in front of the Village Theater in Westwood.

The band arrived chauffeured in a sleek red Cadillac Eldorado around 3:15 p.m.
